The desk
I trained to become a civil servant while finishing my law degree. I passed the exam, but there was no permanent post, so I was assigned to extranjería, Spain's immigration office, in Alicante. That's where I met immigration law, and the people on the other side of the desk trying to build a life somewhere new.
What I saw
I saw how applications are assessed, where processes become complicated, and how straightforward cases become difficult.
Why The Expat Suite
After the office, I moved to the advisory side as a paralegal. The same pattern kept coming back: the visa was one decision, but it was tangled with tax, business, housing and family, and nobody was looking at them together. Immigration is where my expertise began. Relocation is where it now operates. The Expat Suite advises on and manages relocations to Spain, as one move.
How I work
One strategy first, then the paperwork. The Expat Suite is your strategic lead for the move. I'm a paralegal, not a lawyer: whenever your case needs one, a qualified immigration lawyer, a tax adviser or another specialist does that work, and where appropriate they contract and invoice you directly. You keep one strategy and one point of responsibility.
